Porters & Stouts Tasting, Friday 2nd November

Rich, dark and deeply satisfying, Porters & Stouts have seen a resurgence of popularity in recent times with a particular following in the U.S.  Their highly kilned and roasted malts are used to create full bodied, smooth beers full of chocolate and coffee aromas with a subtlety of smoked overtones with a color as black as the coal dug out of the ground by the miners it was initially created to satisfy.

There are many differing styles of these beers available ranging from plain Porter and dry Stout to the more potent Imperial Stouts and smoked Porters, boasting higher alcohol contents and more intoxicating aromas and flavors.  These are the perfect choices to see in the cold weather and relax in front of a glowing fire with some hearty food and good company.

Try all nine of these great Porters & Stouts for $5 on Friday 2nd  November from 4:30-6:30.
